Food “Akel”

If you haven’t eaten Mansaf in your Jordan trip you should come back again! Will comeback to this in a bit!
Most importantly is food hygiene, we do not want food to cancel your visit to Petra. Seems silly; but this is really important. Hence we have put in place the right equipment and are operating the right practices of hygiene and food safety. We are proud of our cuisine in Jordan and we are sure you will like it. Here is some of our dishes that will intrigue your taste buds Mansaf: This is the formal way of eating in Jordan, Lamb cooked in Jameed (dry goat dry yoghurt) with rice. Maklouba : Translated as “Upside Down” is cooked rice with vegetables and either lamb or chicken. Mashawi (Lamb Grill) Rashoof: This is a very traditional dish. Cereal (Wheat, Lentil and Chick peas) soup cooked in Jameed. Garnished with sun dried tomato and serviced with traditional bread. Try it; there is nothing like it!
